BPC-157 – 10mg
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide comprising 15 amino acids, derived from the biologically active sequence of a naturally occurring peptide found in gastric juice. It is considered to have a highly stable structure, resistant to the degrading effects of hydrolysis and enzymatic metabolism, and appears to be highly soluble in water without requiring a carrier for absorption. Research suggests that BPC-157 may exert tissue-repairing actions through multiple mechanisms, including upregulation of growth factors, proangiogenic characteristics, and nitric oxide (NO) synthesis. The peptide may interact with the NO system to potentially protect the endothelium and promote the formation of new blood vessels. Studies indicate BPC-157 may stimulate the expression of the early growth response 1 (EGR-1) gene, which may generate cytokines and growth factors facilitating early formation of the extracellular matrix, including collagen. Additional research suggests potential interactions with bone morphogenic proteins, the FAK-paxillin signaling pathway involved in cell adhesion and migration, and neurotransmitter systems including serotonin and dopamine within the nigrostriatal pathway.
